[dropcap]I[/dropcap]n the first email Jennifer ever sent to me, she mentioned that she and her fiancé, Kevin, were hoping to take their engagement photos in Mount Laguna. I immediately knew that they were the perfect clients for me! I’m a lover of the outdoors, and I have always loved taking short day trips up to Mt. Laguna to experience the mountain air and scenery. From wide open, golden fields and tall pine trees, to mountainous desert views, Mt. Laguna provides such breathtaking and diverse backdrops!

Arriving at our meeting location on a cold January day, I opened my car door and was immediately greeted with the most powerful, bitterly cold gust of wind against my face. I was instantly overcome with regret, as I had only brought a very light jacket with me and I knew that this sweet couple probably hadn’t planned to wear winter attire for their session. Despite the inclement weather, Jennifer and Kevin’s love provided a warmth that made me forget about my numb fingertips. As we adventured around the mountain to three different locations, I learned about their love for the outdoors and hiking, and witnessed such a beautiful, everlasting bond between the happy couple. Kevin and Jennifer, it was so awesome braving the winter Mt. Laguna weather with you both and freezing our butts off! I can’t wait for your Twin Oaks House wedding in November!
