I'm Jade, a fine art wedding and portrait photographer based in San Diego. Thanks so much for being here! Want to learn a little bit about me? Well, on a personal level, the most important thing to know about me is that I'm first and foremost a mom to my 7 year old daughter, and wife to my high school sweetheart. I'm a huge music fan, and you will often find me and my husband at festivals or concerts, trying pretend that we're still young enough to stay out until after 10 pm. A perfect evening for me would include cooking a healthy, delicious meal from scratch at home over a glass of pinot grigio while a record from our vinyl collection plays in the background. Bliss.
I'm naturally a quiet, reserved person, but something about photography brings out a different side of me. Since pursuing this passion of mine over 9 years ago, I have found so much joy in being able to capture couples' unique love stories. I believe in creating imagery that will stand the test of time, outliving the coming and going trends, which is why I like to incorporate film in my process. While finding the perfect balance between documenting organically as things happen, and composing details in an editorial way, my hope is to capture the love and genuine emotions of your day - the type of photos that need to be printed and framed on your walls for years to come.
