This year was turned upside down, to say the least, with traditional weddings not being permitted, the new norm has been to forgo large celebrations, and instead embrace intimate ceremonies that celebrate what’s important – LOVE. Another highlight from my year was Janzel and Anthony’s beautiful downtown San Diego waterfront courthouse wedding ceremony. After an intimate ceremony surrounded by their closest family members at what has now been dubbed the “Marriage Hut,” we utilized the beautiful various backdrops of the surrounding areas for the bride and groom portraits. My absolute favorite images from this day are the ones we took in front of the infamous San Diego landmark, the Star of India.
