[dropcap]W[/dropcap]hen I met Matthew & Katie at their engagement session last March, I knew right away that their David L. Baker wedding was going to be amazing! Hearing about how much thought went into Matthew’s proposal to Katie – you just know how much they truly love and care for one another. This became even more apparent after hearing what their closest friends and family members had to say about them during toasts. There’s nothing more special than witnessing a couple so in love that everyone in the room can feel it.

Our day began with getting ready photos at the nearby Ayres Hotel with Katie, while my second shooter, Ashley of Frozen Frame Photography photographed Matthew in their home. We then met at their venue, where Katie & Matthew shared a super romantic first look before their ceremony. If there are any brides that are considering a first look, I can’t tell express how much I encourage one! Each first look that I have witnessed has always been so emotional, intimate, and special! Katie & Matthew’s was no different!

After a moving ceremony, the couple then had a fantastic party in the banquet hall of David L. Baker with about 225 of their closest friends and family, with SO much laughter and fun! It was such a pleasure capturing Katie & Matthew’s big day, and I am so grateful to have been a part of it!
