A La Jolla Beach Engagement Session | San Diego CA

[dropcap]W[/dropcap]hen you have a gorgeous couple, the cutest dog, soft colors, and the BEACH, you best believe I am in photographer HEAVEN! Sophia and Ryan chose to start their engagement session at the famous “secret” swing. In all the years I’ve lived in San Diego (and I even went to school in La Jolla from 3rd-12th grade) I’ve never actually attempted to visit this spot before! After enjoying the view, the pretty eucalyptus trees, and watching their sweet pup run around, we headed down to the Shores to catch the sunset. On a Friday evening in the middle of summer, there were a ton of people enjoying the beach,  but we got extremely lucky and had our own little corner of the beach to ourselves as the sun set over the ocean.

Sophia chose the most stunning white dress from Lulus, and Ryan was perfectly coordinated in a soft blue. Their outfit choices create such a light and airy look to their photos! It makes me so happy when clients take my styling advice! The sweet couple had never taken professional photos before, but you could NEVER tell! They were SUCH naturals in front of the camera. I’ve even had a couple people ask me if their photos are from a styled shoot with models! I had the most difficult time narrowing down my favorites from their session! I can’t WAIT for their La Jolla Woman’s Club wedding next spring!
