Get ready for one of my favorite sessions to date – Natalie and Shane’s romantic Blacks Beach engagement session. I had an incredibly difficult time narrowing down photos to share from this shoot because I love each and every image!

From the moment that I met with this sweet couple over the phone (I would typically meet in person, but coffee shop consultations are now a thing of the past thanks to Covid!) I knew that they were going to be a dream to work with. Natalie and Shane chose the most serene, secluded location for their engagement session – the southern most part of Blacks Beach in La Jolla. It’s an area that I used to frequent in high school, and requires quite a trek to get there, but they were more than open to the idea of a little adventure.

Natalie chose a perfect flowing tulle maxi dress from VICI Collection, and the mastermind behind Le Champagne Projects, Kelly, created the most jaw-dropping bouquet that paired perfectly with their outfit choices and the natural backdrop.
