A Cabrillo National Monument Elopement
Micro weddings and elopements have very quickly gained massive popularity in the recent years, and I am all here for it. There is something so special about an intimate ceremony in a beautiful place, surrounded by only your closest loved ones, or even no one else at all. Ashley and Taylor chose one of the most epic backdrops in all of San Diego county, Cabrillo National Monument, for their micro wedding ceremony. Truthfully, I wasn’t even aware that they allowed wedding ceremonies there, as my only experience with Cabrillo was an elementary school field trip. However, knowing of the iconic lighthouse, plus the stunning coastal and cliffside backdrop, it’s shocking that this location isn’t used more often!
Beginning with an emotional first look in front of the well-known lighthouse building, everything about this ceremony was perfect from start to finish. Ashley wore the most beautiful, form-fitting Grace Loves Lace dress, and paired it with a whimsical bouquet from Communal Flowers. I loved getting to know this sweet couple, and love even more how the photos from this Cabrillo National Monument elopement turned out.
