A Laguna Beach Engagement

Sydney and Ben are the epitome of a dream couple, and this beach location is the definition of a perfect backdrop. Everything about this shoot was so dreamy, and is truly the reason why I love what I do.

Not being a local to Laguna Beach, Sydney had picked a beautiful location for their engagement session, Unfortunately due to permit issues, that location was unavailable, so I had to scramble quickly to find a backup location. When I was told about this intimate, lesser known beach, I immediately knew that this would be one that I would use one day. I love getting to photograph in new areas since it pushes me outside of my comfort zone and figure out on the spot where the best locations for lighting are.
