A Whispering Oaks Terrace Wedding | Pala CA

[dropcap]A[/dropcap]s a photographer, you know you are photographing a dream of a wedding when you spend the majority of the day making high-pitched noises. Kaity and Zach’s Whispering Oaks Terrace wedding in Pala, CA was beyond perfect. I was in photographer heaven surrounded by a variety of stunning natural backdrops,  beautiful decor and florals, and pastel pinks and purples (I may have mentioned before that pastels are my favorite.) I knew Zach and Kaity’s wedding was going to be gorgeous after their jaw dropping Idyllwild engagement session last fall. To this day, that session is hands down one of my favorites that I have ever photographed.

But now, I have this wedding to add to my list! What a perfect day! As the wedding day neared, it seemed that there would be some rain in the forecast, making their plans change for having an outdoor reception. However, I arrived at the venue that morning, and the sun was shining! We were able to capture lots of beautiful detail photos, bridal party portraits, family portraits, and a special moment between the bride and groom as they prayed before the ceremony. The clouds rolled in shortly after, but that did not get in the way of a stunning ceremony followed by bride and groom portraits.

We were running out of natural light, but Zach and Kaity are such pros at being photographed. Luckily, we were able to capture a variety of portraits before the sun went down! One of my favorite areas on the venue property is the grove of olive trees, so as dark as it was, I knew I HAD to grab some portraits there of the happy couple! They are some of my absolute favorite photos from the day! Plus, there was NO rain at all! Kaity and Zach, your wedding day was one to remember. It’s because of couples like you that I feel so grateful to do what I do. Congratulations, and here’s to a lifetime of love and happiness!
